"...during my studies at TU Dortmund University, I went abroad to study Art for one semester - and this was a pretty much life-changing decision: in the USA, I took my very first glassblowing class and immediately fell in love with the process of working molten glass - and stayed another half year, feeling the need to learn more about this tantalizing material that I had just discovered. Back in Germany, I soon realized that glassblowing had put a spell on me which is why I finally started the apprenticeship as a glassblower at the Glass School Zwiesel."

"...finishing my design studies at Escola Massana in Barcelona, where I come from, I discovered the multiple possibilities that glass has and was very fascinated, so I decided to do an internship at Glassworks Matteo Gonet in Switzerland, where I had the opportunity to see and discover much more about glass. I fell in love.

At that point I decided to specialize my design studies in blown glass. A collegue in the studio told me: "If you want to be happy, go, and learn how to blow glass at the Glass School Zwiesel." So I went to the Bavarian Forest."
